LEGO Gaming Reaches Broader Audience Than Ever Before as the Popular LEGO Friends Property Comes to Nintendo 3DS™ and Nintendo DS™ This Autumn
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced LEGO® Friends, currently being developed for the Nintendo 3DS™ and Nintendo DS™ handheld systems. Scheduled for release this autumn, LEGO Friends will offer creative gameplay based on the fun and excitement found in the already-popular LEGO Friends collection of building sets, which launched in 2012 and introduces new adventures in 2013.
“We are very proud to welcome even more girls into the world of LEGO videogames with a title based on the best-selling LEGO Friends line,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “LEGO Friends allows players to build personal fun adventure while expressing their individual style and personality along the way.”
LEGO Friends welcomes players to Heartlake City, where summer fun awaits! Players have complete freedom to express their unique style, explore areas and activities that interest them most, such as perfecting a dance routine in the studio, taking a few shots on goal at soccer practice, or visiting the store to get cool items to customize their character, as they build friendships with their five new friends.
Building friendships is the heart of the game. As players meet new friends and join them on special adventures, such as helping Emma take pictures for her next newspaper article or reviewing song choices for Andrea’s next performance, they grow their friendship levels with each character. Once players reach “true friend” status with all of the characters, they are able to build a Heartlake Celebration for them.
Additionally, players can care for a variety of different pets by training and grooming them, in order to enter them in a pet show. Each pet has a special skill that players can use to help them in their adventures. Plus, players can trade places with the fun-loving pets to play the game from the animal’s perspective.
To capture their exciting adventures in Heartlake City, players can use the in-game camera for fun photo ops to create a scrapbook of friendship memories.
LEGO Friends is being developed by TT Games, in partnership with Hellbent Games.

Solo, duet or singing face off: Deep Silver presents the various game modes of Let’s Sing
Deep Silver and Voxler today revealed the different game modes for Let’s Sing for Wii™.
Whether alone, in pairs or as a group of singers: the upcoming music game offers several different modes that let living room superstars show off their skills. While the training mode prepares the players for their karaoke career, the play mode is the right choice for a classic karaoke experience. Let’s Sing will be available on October 19, 2012.
Let’s Sing for Wii is a karaoke game for up to four players in a team or in competitive mode. Players can perform 40 tracks from well-known artists, including the original music videos. Get your friends together, warm up for your performance and join in the fun!
The game modes in detail:
Training Mode:
For players who are not familiar with the songs in Let’s Sing or for those who just want to sing along, the practice mode is a safe bet. It offers the possibility to get to know the text and see how well you performed – without being scored or shown the pitch levels.
Play Mode:
This is the standard mode of Let’s Sing. Players get scored for how well they are able to sing and match the lyrics of a chosen song. The play mode includes the options Solo, Co-op, Duet and Battle.
Solo:
This single player mode scores singers for their ability to match the pitch and timing for a selected song. Players can set the difficulty: while easier difficulty ratings are more lenient towards matching the pitch and timing, the more difficult settings offer more points.
Duet:
In this mode, two players can sing one song together, each with their own microphone. For every singer, there are different sections of the song highlighted. At the end of the track, all points are combined.
Battle:
All the players sing the same parts of a chosen song, the one who earns the highest score will be declared the winner.
Co-op:
Players also sing the same parts of a song in this mode, but at the end, their scores will be combined instead of compared.
Pitch Correction:
The pitch correction can be used independently or in conjunction with the voice effects of Let’s Sing: While singing the songs, the game will attempt to adjust the player’s voice to match the pitch and vocals of the song, but the timing is still left to the singer.
To spice up the karaoke experience, Let’s Sing offers different effects that enable players to alter their voice: Echo, Reverb, Helium, Ogre and Wobble each add funny distortions to the players performance. These can be chosen before, during and after a song is played.
Jukebox:
In case the players need a break, they can turn on the jukebox: Here they can choose to watch the videos without having to sing.

Survival-Horror Shooter Showcases Nintendo Wii UTM GamePad, Delivers Intense and Terrifying
New Gaming Experience
Copenhagen, Denmark — June 6, 2012 — Today, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Ubisoft challenged gamers to find out how long they can survive in the dilapidated, infected world of ZombiU – a new survival-horror shooter that will be released exclusively for Nintendo’s Wii UTM. ZombiU headlines a group of eight titles from Ubisoft that will be available for the Nintendo Wii UTM.
Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind critically acclaimed titles like From DustTM, Beyond Good & Evil® and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter®, ZombiU puts players in the middle of London circa 2012, where an outbreak has infected the population, destroying their humanity and turning them into mindless monsters preying on the flesh of the few remaining survivors. This fear-fueled first-person shooter takes all the terror, chaos and tension found in the best of the horror genre and adds original interactive elements, including a unique death mechanic that puts players in the body of a different survivor each time they die, allowing them to track and take down their old, infected characters, recover their equipment and see if they can stay alive just a little bit longer this time.
ZombiU showcases the innovative features of the Nintendo Wii UTM GamePad and creates new game experiences not possible on other consoles. The Nintendo Wii UTM GamePad serves as the player’s ultimate survival kit, called the “Bug Out Bag.” The Bug Out Bag is a backpack containing all the maps, tools, weapons and supplies that players can scavenge from the limited resources available in the devastated cityscape. ZombiU also uses the Nintendo Wii UTM GamePad’s touch screen, gyroscope and camera to create a tactile connection between gamers and the in-game world. Finally, ZombiU features a distinctive multiplayer adversarial mode that allows one player to take on the role of “Zombie Master,” spawning and controlling enemies from a top-down view on the Nintendo Wii UTM GamePad while the second player fights for survival on the big screen in first-person shooter view with the Nintendo Wii UTM Pro controller.
“ZombiU is a dark and daunting game that gamers will love to play again and again,” said Guillaume Brunier, producer at Ubisoft. “ZombiU takes advantage of the Nintendo Wii U’s one-of-a-kind capabilities and will be a launch title that every gamer will want to sink their teeth into.”
For more information on ZombiU, please visit the official ZombiU website (www.zombiu.com) and facebook.com/zombiugame
ZombiU also can be pre-ordered at UBIShop® by visiting: www.ubishop.com/zombiu
